Is there a better place to spend a hot Summer’s day than mooching around Kingston? We popped out and about and met with some pretty cool locals who have inspired us with their top-notch Summer styling.
Our travels began in the beautiful Hampton Court Park. Amongst the breezy long grass, Olivia, gave us the ultimate summer look with her floaty, floral dress and dainty spaghetti straps. Paired with elegant gold jewellery and tortoise shell sunnies, it was the perfect picnic vibe.
Heading towards the centre of town we found animation student, Rachelle, on the famous Kingston Bridge. Paired perfectly against the sandstone brick and floral baskets, her all white satin dress and sneaker combo was a winner for summer days and city getaways.
Perfect for shopping, dining, or days out, our high-streets are one of the best places to spot stylish summer looks. Wearing a classic vintage tee, sunglasses and silver chain, we spotted Izaac enjoying a moment of calm outside one of Fife Roads coffee shops.
In the heart of the town, Kingston Market Place is a hub of activity, full of live events, street food, and local music. We loved this classic monochrome look amongst the hustle and bustle of the fruit stands, this cheeky chap was sporting fitted trousers paired with a basic white tee, dressed up with a washed denim jacket and statement accessories.
On sunny days you’ll see Kingston Riverside alive with locals soaking up the sun on the waters edge. Whether you hop on a paddle board or sit waterside at one of the many restaurants, it can’t be beaten on a hot day. We loved this combo of denim and open plaid flannel for casual weekends by the water.
Wondering over Kingston Bridge and into Kingsfield Park you’ll find sun-soaked tennis courts calling out for this season of athleisure. Tennis racket in hand, we met Matthew in this red and white striped tee providing the perfect pop of colour.
On our stroll back towards the river we couldn’t help but stop to enjoy this leopard print summer dress with statement sunglasses. This season we are all for patterns and can’t wait to see more animal print parading Kingston’s Riverside.
Our last stop of the day was to capture the precious moments of family time spent by the water. Hair bows and butterflies were the feature of this little ones look, with a dainty summer dress, the perfect way to spend warm Summer evenings.
Corr Kingston, Summer really does look good on you…
